I noticed that better chess players can pretty much instantly spot any attacks or potential captures on a board, both for themselves and their opponent. This game is my attempt to improve this vision or pattern recognition, and hopefully have fewer missed captures or blunders.

Feedback very welcome!

codingdave•37m ago
I'm not detecting much of game here. It feels more like a homework exercise. ID the attacks on the board. OK, done. Do it again. Repeat ad nauseum.
tom2948329494•35m ago
Depends on the skill I guess... My goal is to become faster at spotting this. Incredibly, sometimes I can't find an attack that's right there.

But I guess there are some way to gamify this more. I'll try that!

e: Oh and also there's "rush" where you play against the clock.
