Show HN: Aegis – Network Firewall for AI Security

We're launching Aegis, a hardware based AI firewall designed to redact PII and sensitive data from everyday AI usage. The device acts as a captive portal and filters all network traffic to AI service providers. It performs on device policy decisions and redaction so your sensitive data never leaves your network.

We've partnered with some friends in the EU who have a redaction service via a browser extension to protect web traffic https://aegis-firewall.com/en.

And, we just launched a kickstarter to get the hardware based protection out which secures all AI usage from PII leakage https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/3p3r/aegis-the-ai-firew...

Would love the HN community’s perspective: Do you see a need for this kind of device? What pitfalls should we be careful to avoid? Also, any other feedback would be helpful. Thank you!
