I will never forgive Apple for removing the skeumorphisms in Books. Holding an iPad and reading the books just didn't feel the same afterwards; the concept of holding a bookshop in your hand was pretty amazing, and they just let the joy dissipate into another soulless e-reader.

The camera shutter sound is to discourage people in asian countries from taking upskirt photos. It also can't be muted when you've got SIM cards from one of those countries installed.
