Nice write up. I've been optimising build duration and feedback speed across a few projects recently. Agentic coding is putting more emphasis on best practices that we all dragged our feet on for many years :-)

But... Tell the AI to write more concise and remove typical AI-isms next time. The post is twice as long as it needs to be and keeps doing the "The slow linter isn't the problem" fluffy Claude thing.

That article wasn’t written using AI. I wrote it in Czech language (it’s my mother tongue); the AI translated it into English for me, but I’ll definitely choose a better translation next time.
t0mas88•21m ago
Ah that explains why the content is great but the writing style in English is AI.

if you translate using AI, then I assume youre using something like DeepL

You used an LLM to translate, which lowered the quality of the post IMO

Careful, you might cut yourself on all that edge

how is this 3rd on the front page? a claude slop blog post with 1 comment?

so the AI wrote it using a Czech prompt?
epolanski•44m ago
The second half of the post could've been a pre-commit git hook.

I find this style of writing off putting. And it is invading internet. Maybe I'm getting old (45), but I miss the prose of a few years ago.
slopinthebag•35m ago
the worst thing about ai is the typescripters who use ai to push typescript everywhere

disgusting language

the_other•12m ago
It’s pretty effective and helpful in writing maintainable web apps. A few people use it. Care to share something practical about why you think it’s disgusting, and which language you use that doesn’t taste so foul?

Really? This is the top of HN now?

Fair critisism, but it's not a paid product.
