Show HN: Pando, an open-source platform to deploy and share apps built with AI

https://github.com/trypando/pando
3•bemeeker•1h ago
Hey all! As the use of AI continues to grow and becomes more available to less technical users, I feel that “Shadow AI” is starting to become a problem, since users are building apps with AI, but there’s nowhere to put them, and no way to share them. I have seen this firsthand while working in the IT and DevOps space since before generative AI was a thing.

So, I started building Pando! It’s an open source platform that you can run yourself, and it allows users to deploy apps build with AI easily, and share them with others in your org (or family). It scans each app for known vulnerabilities, and runs them in isolated networks.

It’s still very much in alpha, but I would love some people to give it a try and provide feedback on the project and its direction!

For "alpha", there are a lot of features here. I like the attempt to deploy just off a git repo. Also, having used competing products before, this look really promising. I'll definitely be giving it a go.
bemeeker•28m ago
Love to hear it! I’m calling it “alpha” largely because it hasn’t had enough use for me to consider it stable, even though it’s worked fine for folks so far.

There also might be breaking changes as it matures, but it will enter a beta soon enough!
