Show HN: Flaksorama – A party game for work events where anyone can win

https://flaksorama.com/demo
1•flaksorama•49m ago
Hi HN, we're Andrea (product and design) and Yulai (code). We met as consultants on the same dev team and somehow ended up planning parties. It escalated. Christmas Olympics, bug hunt, and our own "The Office" mockumentary starring the team.

All rooted in the same itch: To create something that feels (truly) personal, where anyone can win. Regardless of trivia knowledge or bowling/shuffleboard/beer pong skills. Where neither the loudest nor the most extroverted would be guaranteed a victory. Soo... we built something (and even recorded our own sound effects).

It's called Flaksorama. Players join from their phones to compete in trivia, drawing, and other minigames to move across a shared game board. A built-in effect system (bonuses, setbacks, and treasure chests) is meant to keep the game open until the end.

We're having so much fun creating the boards, where each has its own theme and effects. From Halloween (petrified, graveyard, midnight) to the office setting (reply all, overtime, ctrl+alt+down). But the best ones come from real workplaces, so you can also have a board made with your gang and inside jokes. Think "LGTM: Sara approved your PR without a single comment. You move twice as far next round" and "Scope creep: Levi added 'one more thing' to your ticket. Next round, you are suddenly short on time".

The demo runs in the browser (you don't need an account to try it). We’d love feedback, and new board / theme ideas!
