Should Snap start selling data for RL?

1•vedootmetoot•56m ago
I feel like there are only a handful of extremely well funded companies that have high quality data to train robotics / develop simulations.

Meta and snap imo are the two big tech companies that have mountains of high quality motion tracking data, which afaik is quite rare to come by.

If it is true robotics research labs are willing to buy this type of data in bulk, could there be a play for snap to start selling? Similar to Scale.

It would also be pretty cool if they went into the robotics business / disrupted some manufacturing lines, although that feels like a much much harder pivot.
