For anyone not familiar, the website/product is at https://particle.io

I had to ask AI, as the article just kept saying "particle" as if that was the full name, and search results were showing me mens face cream.

It's an IoT development and deployment platform from what I gathered. If that description is inaccurate, please correct.

Sold for $50 million according to AI.
