Show HN: LayerShop – a love child of ComfyUI and PhotoCraft

https://github.com/SlavomirDurej/layershop
1•SlavomirDurej•45m ago
You might have seen PhotoCraft, an open-source Photoshop-style editor. It's great, but it was missing one important ingredient: generative AI. LayerShop fills that gap, and unlike Photoshop, it can run the models locally on your own GPU, for free.

Here are the AI features you get with LayerShop:

- a guided ComfyUI install (the engine)

- guided download and setup of local models, including the latest ones like MOSS Image, Ming, Ernie, FLUX.3 Klein, Z-Image, Krea 2 and Ideogram 4

- support for the latest cloud (paid) models like GPT Image 2.5 Sunburst and Flare, FLUX 3, Grok Imagine 2 and Nano Banana Pro

It supports text to image, image to image, inpainting and outpainting, named image references, targeted or whole-image edits, style transfer, photo restoration, relighting and more.

All of that in a familiar Photoshop-style UI, on layers with transparency, blend modes and masks.

Every generated layer remembers which model, prompt and settings made it. You can still tweak the advanced settings if you like: number of steps, seed, CFG scale, LoRA strength and more.

It's a first preview: Windows only, NVIDIA for local models, and not code-signed yet. 3-minute demo: https://youtu.be/dCBiipZ03dA
