The Music of Politics

More like the politics of music. Was expecting the music of politics to be rhythm, frequency, and tempo of traditionally non-musical elements as symbolism, like

The chosen venue of a speech, the history as context.

The cadence of an adhoc aside at a rally versus the teleprompted, formal utterance.

The jabs and hooks of a debate, accompanied by the truth or falsehood of the preparatory work beforehand.

The ebb and flow of a voting record, and whether compromises fulfilled campaign promises to their constituents.
