As someone who's used to owning a router (first the legendary WRT54G, then some regretful cisco overkill-for-a-home stuff and recently Ubiquiti gear) since my last move I've been using my ISP-provided one. It's time to pick a new router, and I'm curious: what are you using? and why?

Fritzbox. high quality in soft and hardware and pretty good support.

Running a synology router. Don't recommend. Will be adding a NIC to my Proxmox host and running a OPNSense VM in the future.

Unify/Ubiquity is the way imo. Dream router is a good start.
