Tell HN: First day in quite some time I feel optimistic about the future

3•reimertz•40m ago
There is so much more work to be done, but waking up seeing elections still work and people still fighting for a future not letting billionaires and fascists eroding our minds.. It gives me the hope that we still have the ability as humanity to steer towards a brighter future.

"Even in the darkest circumstances, there is a light. Sometimes only a glimmer. Trust that light. Find a way back. No matter what it takes." - Captain Jean-Luc Picard

"It's the hope that kills"

Let's see what they do with it. Modern politicians don't tend to be very consequential.

elmer2•16m ago
Instead, we will have Socialists doing the same thing, with all the wealth concentrated at the top, which is the government.

Gas prices and groceries don't get any cheaper when youR low-iq plan is to jail Republicans and tax the rich.

There's also never any accountability for our money, only plans to take more of it.

I'm wondering how much money you make, and why you feel like you deserve it.

reimertz•7m ago
I live in Sweden pay ~55% tax and happy to do it. You jail people who break the law. No one needs to be a billionaire.
