CRM and Software factory for solo engineer to help small businesses

1•uptownhr•38m ago
I had a thought around the word "long tail", used to be hot 20 years ago and creating product and services, and google keywords for the long tail. Making things that are more specific to gain trust/brand through targeting a niche.

In the last SAAS age, that thought seem to have died down but I'm rethinking it now with AI and what this means for the future.

1. For sure, we will be expanding on what the long tail is now and will be making software much more niche and custom tailored. Generic solutions just doesn't make sense anymore and they already exist.

2. Will this be democraticed and allow everyone to contribute here or will it be eaten up by the foundational model providers or the big AI players and eat the space?

Would love to hear your opinions.
