Ah yes, the classic fascist ploy of... being concerned about propaganda...

Larry Sanger's "life's work" is trying to destroy or undermine Wikipedia. He needs to give it up.

He was involved in the project for a very brief time. He immediately despised the volunteer community, couldn't handle the democratic governance model and discussions focused on evidence rather than credentials.

He left, and has spent the entire rest of his career starting a series of failed competitors and whining. Recently he has become a weird right wing conspiracy theorist, or at least pitched his public comments that way, I guess because nobody else cares anymore what he has to say.

It was obvious who this was going to be about. Is his "life's work" trying to subvert Wikipedia ever since getting kicked out or rage quitting right at the beginning?

This needs "(2025)" in the title; nothing new.

I tried working with Sanger a little on the Encyclosphere. I think his basic opinions, as expressed in this article, are correct. On the other hand, he accused me of being a Chinese spy, and that put a damper on my wanting to interact with him and his projects. Many things that should be done to improve the internet keep falling apart because of stuff like this.
