Show HN: Horochan – a fast, minimalist daily horoscope site (no ads,no tracking)

3•viknesh_x•7mo ago
I built horochan.com because most horoscope sites are overloaded with ads, popups, clickbait, and shady tracking. Horochan is the opposite:

Fast (loads in under 100ms)

No cookies, no analytics, no nonsense

One daily horoscope, plain English, no distractions

Designed to feel calming and human — not like a casino

I'm not an astrology fanatic. I just wanted to build a daily ritual that was weirdly peaceful and didn’t feel like a dark UX pattern. A few friends started using it daily, and I figured: why not share?

Built with: static front-end + serverless backend, deployed via Vercel.

Would love feedback on:

Whether you'd use or recommend it

If anything feels missing

Ideas to improve the experience

Appreciate any thoughts — rip it apart if needed.

I think that the people who believe in Horoscope wouldn't mind ads and clickbait.

Hmm I thought it's making some friction

no ads but a big support card taking up 50% of space.
