I built a drag-and-drop map playground to compare the true sizes of countries and visualize Mercator distortion, just for fun and sharing. Open source + easy to replace the GeoJSON with your own data.

I think it would be interesting to be able to move alaska and the continental US separately. There used to be another tool that did this, but I don't think it allowed moving alaska alone either.
