HTML parser I'm using only took a minute to fix; I use C, no selectors or scripting languages

I think this is what makes HN good as a website

Sure but it broke Hack app and it wasn’t obvious what was going on (comments were simply not showing). An API would have been nice, and it would make error handling easier
