Europe might look safe now, but a successful coup against the constitution here will embolden those who think they may be able everywhere else. AFD in Germany is emboldened and Le Pen was definitely a threat in France. UK's leadership hasn't been very inspiring either.
Far right movements have one core belief: there is "us" and there is "them" and we are in competition for finite resources including food, land, and wombs.
Some people will be harmed fighting for freedom. You cannot have freedom without some people feeling the pain of having fought for it. If you don't do anything that makes you afraid, your fear will become your chains.
