Kind of a throwback article, reminds me of articles written the first Trump term. Alarmed institutionalism ("We should follow the EU's example!") The tone of high-minded concern and moral urgency. It's hard to describe but the article is very, very 2016-ish in tone. Reading it is like opening a time capsule.
