I made a tool for switching between recently visited tabs – just like how you switch between recently used apps on macOS with Command+Tab.
It's like if Spotlight and App Switcher had a baby.
I thought it was a great tool, so I spent a few months building it. I’ve gotten around 25 paid users and about $100 in sales – with no paid ads.
Now I’m thinking about trying paid marketing. But since this app is extremely niche (at least in my subjective opinion), I’m not sure if it’s worth it.
What do you think? Should I invest in marketing, or move on and build a less niche app?

You should invest in a little bit of marketing, is what I'd say. It may be niche, but I know a lot of people who would love to use this.

I'm not even sure who is my target audience, so I know who to target in my ads...

Who are they? Developers?

Certainly hit the Mac-centric websites—Mac Rumors, Apple Insider, Mac Stories, etc.
9to5 Mac highlights apps by indie developers every week.

Must be very expensive...

Do you by any chance know if you have to apply for it somehow?
