A lot of the state DMV sites are a bit hard to navigate, so I built this site to help you check if your ID is REAL ID compliant, and if not, it'll walk you through how you can get one in your state step-by-step. There's also some state-specific tips on how to beat DMV lines (esp. useful for some states like Illinois where lots of people still need REAL IDs).
