Show HN: I Am Music Font – Free Online Double-Layer and Freaky Text Generator

https://iammusicfont.art
1•dlouxgit•8h ago
Hi HN,

I'd like to show you *iammusicfont.art*, a free online tool I built for generating unique text effects.

I created this because I wanted a simple way to generate the distinctive double-layer text style often seen in music art (like Playboi Carti's 'Music' album) and also have a quick way to get various "freaky" or decorative text styles.

The site currently offers two main generators:

1. *I Am Music Font Generator:* This lets you create the iconic double-layer effect with a bold background and an elongated foreground text. You can customize the text, adjust size and spacing, and even drag the foreground layer independently. It's great for creating visuals for music, social media, or other design projects. You can download the result as a high-quality PNG, with or without a transparent background.

2. *Freaky Font Generator:* This provides a collection of 20+ different text styles (like gothic, bubble, mirror, etc.) that you can easily apply to your text. It's perfect for getting those unique characters or styles for social media bios, messages, or creative uses. You can preview multiple styles at once and download images of your chosen styles.

The tool is completely free, easy to use, and outputs clean PNG images.

*This is my first significant website project as a beginner developer, and I've put effort into making it user-friendly and visually appealing.*

I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback! *If you have any suggestions regarding interaction design or visual aspects, your comments are especially welcome.* Of course, general feedback or bug reports are also very helpful.

Check it out here: [https://iammusicfont.art](https://iammusicfont.art)

Thanks for reading!
