Apple will likely raise its prices internationally to spread the additional taxes the Republicans will force upon it. This way, the world will have to absorb these taxes or at least share the burden with Americans. It will be important to monitor the prices elsewhere, like in Canada, to see if there are price increases.
If there are price increases internationally, those Governments should impose tariffs on Apple immediately to force the Trump/Republican tax increases back onto Americans.
I question why Apple has no problem building factories in India or elsewhere and accommodating the new locations in the supply chain, but can't build the same factories in the USA. Nokia once had the largest mobile phone factory in the world in FT. Worth Texas, they didn't have any issues, although they did move the production to Brazil eventually (labor cost).
This isn't about supply chains or factories, it's about slave labor and a workforce that will work without limits. I can't imagine an American putting in 70-80 hour work weeks without telling Apple to fuck off.

I wonder when some large company is going to do the math and realize it would be cheaper to take out a hit than to suffer through wildly swinging tariffs for the foreseeable future.
