Ask HN: Alternatives to Square Online for Quick Food Ordering?

1•irangareddy•8mo ago
I’m helping someone set up an online ordering page for a small food business. Right now, they’re using Square Online, which works but feels a bit rigid and not very customizable.

Are there any other SaaS products that are simple to set up, mobile-friendly, and good for quick food commerce (think: daily menu, order ahead, pickup/delivery toggles)?

Bonus if they: • Don’t charge high transaction fees • Allow custom branding • Support Stripe or other payment providers • Are easy enough for non-technical users to manage

Any indie tools or hidden gems out there? Would love to hear what others have used.

Check out BeyondMenu. No affiliation, my favorite sushi place uses it and says they like it. They appear to be restaurant friendly.
