The Atari ST was nicknamed the Jackintosh. It used TOS/GEM for the OS/GUI and used IBM PC-DOS formatted 720K DD/DS 3.5 floppy disks. I almost bought one but got a good deal on an Amiga 1000 with the 1200 baud modem and 1020 5.25 inch floppy drive with the PC-Transformer to run PC-DOS programs in an emulator.
