It might have been more of Wilders chicking out, because of some other issues being on the table. Wilders has been making big promisses with respect to the poorer parts of society, among which there has been many of his voters, and not beinflg able to fill in any of his promisses, while he was in the position to do so. It even supported some changes that support the rich. So, he decided, probably some weeks ago, to get out and made some fuse about with to start his campain. He probably hopes to get the majority together with the support of the liberal party and fulfill his dream to become premier and rule in a Trump like manner.
