Hi HN, I built https://screenbackground.org to solve a small but recurring annoyance — I needed a fullscreen black (or red, white, etc.) background to test screens, protect OLED panels, or just use as a neutral background for photo/video setups.

Most apps I found were bloated or required installation. So I made this: a single-page, no-login, no-ads website that displays pure fullscreen colors and supports downloading images in different resolutions.

It works on iPhone, PC, TV, anything with a browser. More fun/creative backgrounds are coming soon.
