I know what you're thinking, wasn't there a trip planning app on Show HN just yesterday? Given there seems to be a lot of interest in this space, I thought I'd share my project here as well.
TripJam has many of the features you'd expect in a collaborative trip planning app, but we're approaching the problem from a different angle: from our own experience, trip planning often hits a wall at the very early stages when a trip is nothing more than a group chat message asking who's available, where to go and when. To address this, we designed TripJam around the group chat experience and added a friendly AI agent, TJ, who helps brainstorm ideas, suggest locations, and interfaces directly with the itinerary so that your group isn't constantly switching between different apps/contexts. Our goal isn't just to help plan trips, it's to help your group go on more trips by removing friction early in the planning process.
