I’ve just launched my AI startup, and I’m thinking about using a hackathon this year as a way to push into specific verticals faster (e.g. fintech, crypto, healthcare, legal etc.).

I’m not looking to launch, but more to accelerate: build stuff with others, address new uses cases and maybe even meet future collaborators.

Curious if anyone here has thoughts on:

- Which hackathons have you seen work particularly well for launching or accelerating an AI startup?

- Are there events known for strong industry backing, great technical challenges, or a community that actually helps get the word out?

- In your experience, is it better to go with a big name hackathon, or do smaller, more focused ones lead to better outcomes?

- Any tips on how to make the most of a hackathon when you’ve already got a product out?
