Show HN: OpenClone – A human cloning deepfake project with infrastructure

Hi Hacker News,

Could you spare a little time for a stranger today? I want to share this project I've been working on pretty much since I found out about ChatGPT (so, early 2023), and hopefully get some opinions on it—and maybe even find people who would like to work on it with me. But be warned, there is a lot here.

If you check out the repository, you will find how to contact me, or I guess we could talk here too.

I had Claude summarize the project as follows:

"OpenClone – an AI-powered digital clone creation platform that lets users build personalized AI avatars capable of realistic conversation, voice synthesis, and deepfake video generation. Built with ASP.NET Core, PostgreSQL, and Python AI services (SadTalker, U-2-Net), it's designed as a self-contained, Docker-deployable system moving toward complete independence from external APIs, allowing anyone to create their own AI digital twin with just a few setup commands."

But I would say, if you are looking for a medium-sized project that does AI integrations or Kubernetes, you may want to check it out. Also, if you are interested in seeing a unique CI/CD architecture, you might find it interesting there too.
