It troubles me to see how many X users seem to see Grok as an objective source of truth rather than a collation of data available on the internet- for example, someone will post a brand new article from a major news source about a deportation case, and users will be asking Grok what the "real story" behind the deportation case is, and seem surprised and disbelieving when it responds with the same information as in the original article. I don't know where they expect Grok to get "the truth" on an ongoing legal case that has only just been reported in the news.

(But it is funny to see them argue with it.)
