Company that wants to sell you AI tells you that it's using AI to do half it's work. And if you can't trust a billionaire tech executive to tell the truth about something that makes him richer, who can you trust?
downrightmike•7mo ago
What's the percentage the AI is doing it right? Or at human level competency?
treetalker•7mo ago
And what percentage is work that should be done, let alone that needs to be done?
downrightmike•7mo ago
These are the KPIs I want to know, just saying random percentage tells us nothing.
bigbuppo•7mo ago
I have been told that is the wrong metric to use. You're supposed to look at how much faster it's getting better, and then just draw a line and assume it's always going to continue that trend. Okay, so it took them 70 years to get to this point. Imagine what they can do with another 70 years of development. It might even generate comments that are proper for the programming language you think it's supposed to be generating.
