I had a friend who had panic attacks and I say had because his approach to life led us to not being able to be friends anymore.
My take on his situation was that trying to eliminate triggers destroyed his life because he spent all his effort on avoiding triggers and wasn’t doing anything at all. The more he avoided triggers the more sensitive and easy to trigger he got. This isn’t just my observation, see the relationship between panic and
I think there are some people with a little anxiety who might benefit from some automated CBT but panic disorder is a serious condition that I think needs professional help, hard as it can be to get.
