Ask HN: Where are the good LLM Clients?

3•BrandiATMuhkuh•12h ago
I'm using the ChatGPT client (phone, mac, windows) for over a year now (pro plan). I have also tried Clause and T3 chat (which claims to be the best chat on the market). Yet, they are all super limited. And seem to be very slow in adding new features, which is ironic. So where are the alternatives?

Here is what I'm looking for.

The client should have the following features - runs as local app on the phone and pc - runs on the web - settings are synced between them - has voice support - has plugin support (MCP) -> potentially with a curated list of plugins/servers - has some default plugins like; email support, filesystem support, built in - can be used to create workflows by using only voice/text (write PRDs) - has listener support: listen to file/folder changes and run workflow, listen to location changes (geofencing), listen to email - can make/take phone calls - has enterprise support for roll out -> including restriction policy for plugins - has computer use - And of course should have all features which are already built into ChatGPT Client, T3, etc.

I know that list above seems a lot, but I have built each of those features individually the last year for fun or for a company. So I know this is technically possible.

You just ruled out 99% of options and 100% of the options worth mentioning.
