My first adult job, like almost 20 years ago, was to help introducing an ERP system at a steel tube retail company. My first office job, and all.

A few months into the job, there was a pretty big rain storm, and the roof of the warehouse started to leak - lotsa steel tubes drenched in water.

In the next week, everyone, including the warehouse workers and the office workers (including the CEO - it wasn't a big company, like 20 or so people) spent all time in the warehouse cleaning all the tubes, only 1 girl was allowed to take the phonecalls.

Good times, lol.

I get small business doing an all hands on deck during an unexpected event. But Amazon scheduled this and has made it's founder one of the richest people on the planet who just had a $50 million dollar wedding.
