Took a while to get past the musk managerial / staff issues to deal with (granted those are issues).
>The feed would expand to not just include Twitter’s own conversations, but every public conversation across the social web. Search, trending topics, and live dashboards would represent the entire addressable real-time web, using open standards and protocols like AT Protocol, ActivityPub, and RSS. Twitter would become the way to find out what’s happening everywhere.
I like this idea a lot, but I'm not sure how many other sites would ... they might, but then you have to be careful not to turn it into a web based RSS feeder and the underlying platform sort of evaporates. I also wonder if allowing other content, and then understandably wanting to prioritize / incentivize native twitter content will bring its own regulatory problems.
Let alone the big dumb old elephant, if non musk twitter is free from that influence, what's to say you don't attract negative regulatory / legal issues from the existing administration?
