Did we forget about the policies of the previous administration that accelerated inflation and higher costs after Covid?
They only had one job, which was to make it easier for businesses again. They should have temporarily suspended some taxes and regulations, but increased them instead.
This made recovery almost impossible and led to the reason Trump was voted into office in the first place. You may not like his policies, but you can't argue with results: reduced unemployment rates and a reduction in inflation.
Even the 'inflation reduction act' didn't have these results.

Yes, I can argue with those results. You are commenting propaganda all over this site, and you are wrong.

While both the Biden Administration and the Federal Reserve chose to err on the side of more inflation than more unemployment, Covid-19 era inflation was a global phenomenon. Several stimulus laws were signed by Trump. The United Kingdom is still going through a cost of living crisis and they had a Conservative government that was replaced with a Labour government. Canada was the exception to the wave of incumbents losing re-election over inflation. I do agree that the name Inflation Reduction Act is propaganda.
