I made a Random Web Button for fun (randomweb.click)

By the way, I used just basic HTML, JavaScript, and a simple JSON list of URLs. It's all static and hosted on Vercel – I was surprised how accessible it was, even for someone without a programming background.

If you're curious about how it's built, I'm happy to share more details!’

Hi HN,

I'm not a programmer by training, but someone who's worked in a totally different field for years. A while ago I stumbled into the world of coding, and it honestly felt like discovering magic.

Before, whenever I needed a tool or website, I had to search everywhere and rely on others. But now, even with very limited technical knowledge, I can build small things by myself. It's an amazing feeling. Every time something actually works, I feel pure joy.

One of my favorite recent side projects is [randomweb.click](https://randomweb.click), a tiny "random website generator". You just click a button and land on a weird or delightful little site – sometimes it's a game, sometimes an interactive artwork, or just something absurd. It's inspired by the spirit of The Useless Web and my love of exploring strange corners of the internet.

I hand-curate every link, and it's all super minimal – just playful randomness. It’s still desktop-only for now, but I’m working on mobile support and new features.

If you have any fun or obscure websites to suggest, I’d love to include them!

Would be happy to hear your thoughts – on the idea, the execution, or how I can improve as a beginner making stuff.

Thanks for reading! :)
