Show HN: ZeroDayPublishing – Real-time CVE alerts with filtering and digests

https://zerodaypublishing.com
2•bodhi_mind•9h ago
Hi HN! I’m a full-stack developer, devops enthusiast, and security tinkerer. I built ZeroDayPublishing.com as a real-time feed for newly published CVEs, focused on speed, signal, and personalization.

Most CVE aggregation tools are bloated, delayed, or hard to filter. My goal was to create something that:

Updates in near real-time Lets you filter by vendor, product, and severity Delivers alerts via email (daily, weekly, or real-time) Optionally includes short, LLM-generated summaries to help skim faster

Right now it pulls directly from NVD, exploitdb, cisa, Microsoft, Cisco: parses key info, and outputs a clean, minimal feed. Each CVE has a standalone page, and I’m starting to see those shared directly with a few email subscriptions which is promising. The Twitter bot is live as well: @0dayPublishing

Tech stack: Next.js + Tailwind (frontend) Django + Celery + Redis (backend + caching) Python bots for scraping + summarizing Deployed with Ansible + Docker on a gravitron EC2 behind cloudflare Promtail, Loki, Grafana (observably)

I’ve just launched and haven’t promoted it yet, so feedback would be hugely appreciated: Are the summaries useful or distracting? Would you trust alerts from a site like this? What’s missing that would make this a daily tool for you? Thanks! Open to all thoughts, harsh or kind.
