It means nothing (musically speaking, in my opinion).

Vulfpeck published an empty silence album to it and it got significant playtime due to social media antics.

These worries are more related to the money aspect of music. It is a tragedy and impacts an important aspect of the music ecosystem, but not very relevant to music itself.

This tragedy predates AI by decades, it started with Napster, it won't be stopped anytime soon, and there's little point discussing it anymore.

In a sense, the AI thing is feeding on the tragedy to promote itself, which is a disgusting act if you think of music and commerce as traditional aspects of human life.
