'Free speech' as used by the likes of Musk is a term of art, meaning "speech which Musk likes".

You think he likes the death threats against himself on his platform?
Trying to call Musk as somehow lacking in his allowance of free speech is the dumbest thing ever. Thanks to him the Overton window is way more open now, even if he has to take a lot of flak from absolute idiots. On his own platform too. Who then, inexplicably try to claim he doesn't respect freedom of speech based on some 5 year old slander article.
