Photos: The Scale of China's Solar-Power Projects

This is incredible. It's one thing to hear numbers like gigawatts and percentages of total generation, but seeing these photos gives an idea of the scale required.

The photos of drones installing the panels especially stood out to me.

It's easy to feel that China is ahead here, but it's important to remember it's a small lead using technology and expertise that we all have access to. The only thing that matters is political will to get it done.

Just checked the ranking of solar power patent applications, did not find your country

How to win at life: go on to an internet forum, find a barely viewed post with a single comment, and pick a fight.

I follow all the clean energy news, and also other public environmental events, including the radioactive leak at Sellafield.

Well, technically, patents are accessible to all. One might not use what is described by the patent for commercial purposes for the patent lifetime but still, the information is accessible.
