The PhDs in the Fed should ideally react by saying the Attention Economy has replaced the real Economy in the US.
Where the main currency is not the Dollar but Like/Follower count(store of value), which if anyone is paying attention too, can be now exchanged for dollars/influence/power and is acting like a currency itself.
Therefore the Fed is going to step in and regulate how many likes and followers can be "printed" in a day to prevent like/follower inflation and attention stability.
