According to the Pew Spring 2025 Global Attitudes Survey, people in the following countries now view the US as a greater threat than China:

Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, UK, Indonesia, Turkey, Kenya, South Africa, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico

Regarding our national descent into dictatorial hell, my pitiful fantasy is to gain a couple of scraps from it.

    Nations ending surveillance agreements with the US
    Nations ending trade agreements with provisions written by US corporations

This is a survey of average people. A survey of people inside the government institutions that are directly involved in geopolitics would be more indicative of policy outlook.
