Why would an article trying to refute a claim be posted to HN, when the original claim itself wasn’t posted to HN? If the original claim wasn’t important enough to be posted, the dispute by a single person against the claim certainly doesn’t warrant the mindshare.
This smells like the kind of purely political posting that HN generally avoids.
