RogueScroll – A real-time, terminal-style scrolling news dashboard

I built this to solve a personal itch: I wanted a clean, continuous info dashboard I could leave running on a second screen — no clicking, no logging in, just always-on visibility into tech news, science, AI, and other areas I care about.

So I built [https://RogueScroll.com](https://RogueScroll.com)

It's a browser-based, real-time info stream with a retro terminal aesthetic. Feeds are categorized and scroll in columns. There's no login, no tracking, no ads — just a minimalist info flow.

Some things I focused on: - GPU-accelerated transform scrolling for smoothness - Clean UX, no interaction needed after load - Lightweight back-end with mixed Perl + Python stack

Would love feedback or ideas — or thoughts on where this could go next. It’s still early and I’m building this on weekends. Warning: Some people say is makes them sick.

Thanks!
