I did A Math, and estimated that a future Apple Vision Pro battery pack using this could be 1/3 size (enough to not require a hip-pack?) or last 3x at the current power level.

Given rumor has it that the next Vision Pro will use M4-tier silicon which also reduces power draw (and current system performance is not the UX blocker: weight, heat, and runtime are), I think 1 or 2 more iterations from Cupertino could have a product that has more mass-market appeal.

Practically, shorter path silicon does nice things for power budget for a few minutes, that then gets totally obliterated by feature builders wanting to do cooler things!
