I see what you're going for, but that's not a good description.

Science is belief in the value of hypothesis revision. You work with your best hypothesis, and when that hypothesis turns out to be wrong, you change it to a hypothesis that becomes the new best.

"Ignorance of experts" tries to say the same thing put it misses out the revision part. It is important to know that all hypotheses are tentative, but that phrasing suggests that they are of no value at all. That's beyond misleading, to flat-out wrong.
