Hi HN I’m a developer and YouTuber, and I recently built a small tool to solve a problem I kept running into. When editing my videos, creating precise timestamps and chapter markers by hand was incredibly time‑consuming. I wanted a way to generate these automatically while still letting me refine them.

My tool uses speech analysis to detect topic changes and outputs a list of timestamps with suggested titles. You can upload or link a video, and it returns a set of chapters that you can tweak before publishing. It’s still early, but I’ve been using it on my own channel and it cut my editing time by more than half.
