Oy, this could be huge. Doctors want an easy to use EMR more than anything. The trick is making sure it's great on the backend for revenue collection as well. I'd adore the chance to help shape a new EMR. A well designed EMR can be simple for care providers and thorough for RCM, but you need to keep both goals in sight from the start. It's a great area for the use of AI in some features too like automatic note generation/visit summarization, diagnostic assistance, medication research, etc. I implemented a dictation/note generation tool at my last place and providers went absolutely crazy for it. Biggest impact I made in their eyes in 3 years!
